Some important works that REED personnel have done in the country:

Developed and implemented the model teacher training, teacher support, income generation, and School Management Committee training programme in primary schools of Solukhumbu District (Himalayan Trust NZ/UK, UNICEF,NZAID, Grand Circle USA, November 1997-April 2005)

Conducted workshops for the Training of Teachers in Quality Education Whole School Approach programme in Dang District (UNICEF, April, November 1999) and Dadeldhura District (UNICEF, March 1999)

Carried out Training of Trainers for resource persons, school supervisors, and key teachers in the mid and far western region of Pokhara (UNICEF, October 1999)

Designed and conducted Quality Education Training workshops for teachers in Sindhupalchowk District (Save the Children UK, April 2000)

Developed and implementing Teacher Training and Support programme in Lower secondary and Secondary schools of Solukhumbu District (Himalayan Trust UK, August 2002-ongoing)

Designed and implementing the Key Teacher In-school Support programme in Solukhumbu District (Himalayan Trust, Australia Himalayan Foundation, July 2003-ongoing)

Implementing the Quality Education Initiative in Humla District (UNICEF, July 2003 – ongoing)

Developed and implementing the Quality Initiative for Teacher Training in Langtang - Rasuwa District (Swiss Naulekh Foundation, May 2004 – ongoing)

Providing technical input for the Teaching/learning Methods and Skill Improvement component of for the Scholl Improvement Initiative in Parsa and Kapilvastu Districts (UNICEF, May 2005-May 2006)

The REED facilitators and the trainers are committed to the quality training and the development of the classrooms so there is quality teaching and learning through child centered approach in the remote schools of the country.
